- T744: This flat-top wood box trunk has been totally refurbished. It measures 32” W x 19” D x 21” H. Its original canvas has been removed and the wood sanded, with the hardware painted satin black and finished with 2 coats of polyurethane. The handles have been replaced with Amish leather. The strap keepers are original to the trunk. No key is available.
The inside has been cleaned and sealed with an odor blocking primer. It has been lined with batting and coordinating blue upholstery fabrics.
Great size -- lots of storage!
T697 -- $250
- This round top (very slight curved top) trunk was purchased at auction in Schoharie, NY. It measures 30” W x 19” D x 21” H. The trunk was originally covered canvas which has been removed. Because the underlying paint was impossible to remove, it was sanded and coated with white wash pickling wood stain. The hardware has been painted satin black and then the entire trunk was coated with polyurethane. It has its original handles and stay.
- The inside was cleaned and sealed. It is lined with a light blue cotton fabric to complement the map in the top of the trunk.
Please use care when lifting this trunk by its original handles.

This Grecian design embossed tin dome trunk measures
29-1/2” wide x 16” wide x 19” high.
It has been sanded and rust inhibitor applied before being painted satin black followed by a coat of polyurethane. Gold paint was rubbed in the embossing. The handles have been replaced with Amish leather. There is no key available.
The inside has been stripped, cleaned and sealed with an odor blocking primer. It has been lined with fiberfill and a turquoise blue satin fabric and matching solid fabric.
Nice size low dome.
T712 -$90
- This little trunk measures 14” w X 8” D x 8” H and was purchased in Middleburgh, NY. It’s hard to tell if this little trunk was made for a child or what was its original purpose. Trunks of this type are hard to find today because they were made with such thin wood and are broken or ruined quite easily.
- It was originally covered with paper which has been stripped down to the pine beneath. It has been sanded and finished with two coats of polyurethane. The trim and hardware has been painted satin black. The lock is original although no key is available. The handles have been replaced. Two chains have been installed as a lid stop.
- The inside was scraped, cleaned and sealed with an odor blocking primer. It has been lined with fiberfill and dark blue floral fabric and coordinating sparkle blue fabric.
This would make a nice gift for a girl or boy – ideal for Barbie and her clothes, or matchbox cars!
T656 -- $150
- This tin flat top trunk measures 26” wide x 16” wide x 19-1/2” high and was purchased in Bouckville, NY. Originally in very bad shape, it was purchased for its size and nice hardware. It has been cleaned up, repaired, rust removed, wood slats sanded, and painted light gray. The hardware has been painted satin black and the entire trunk finished with a coat of polyurethane. The handles have been replaced with Amish leather. There is no key available. .

This cross-hatch embossed tin dome trunk was purchased in Sloansville, NY and measures 25-1/2"W x 14-1/2"D x 15-1/2"H. It has been painted gray with hardware and trim painted satin black. The oak slats have been sanded and polyurethaned. The handles have been replaced with Amish leather and the handle caps are new. There is no key available.
The inside has been stripped, cleaned and sealed with an odor blocking primer. It has been lined with fiberfill and two coordinating gray upholstery fabrics.
Nice size dome for any room with the added value of storage.
T624 -- $150
- This interesting trunk was purchased in Oneonta, NY. It measures 19” W x 10” D x 11” H. It was purchased with its original outside covering removed. However, it was probably covered in leather since the star pattern is still etched in the top. The trunk is in the style of a portmanteau, opening in the center to reveal two equal size compartments (with a hinged door closing the upper). The brass plated buttons lead us to believe this may have been a stagecoach chest.
- The exterior was left as found. The hardware was painted satin black. No handles were on the trunk. No key is available. The key cover was left its original color.
This would be great to store important papers or special memorabilia.
The inside has been cleaned and sealed with an odor blocking primer. The lower and upper parts of the trunk have been lined with batting and a beige upholstery fabric with blue flowers.

This tin flat-top trunk measures 34"W x 18=1/2"D x 23"H. After a thorough cleaning, it has been painted a blue/gray color with all hardware painted satin black and coated with polyurethane. The original handles are in good shape but caution should be taken when carrying the trunk.
